How to set up your Exede inbox on your Blackberry phone.
Note: This information applies only to users of Exede.net or Wildblue.net email services on the new email platform that launched Summer 2015. To learn more about this changeover, please visit www.exede.com/email.
|How to Set up your email on your Blackberry device|
|Step 1: Settings|
|Go to Settings, located on your home screen, identifiable by the grey cog wheel.|
|Step 2: Accounts|
|Step 3: Add Accounts|
|Then select Add Accounts.|
|Step 4: Email, Calender, and Contacts|
|Select Email, Calendar and Contacts.|
|Step 5: Enter Email|
|Enter your full @exede.net email address and tap Next.|
Note: If you are using a WildBlue email address, you will enter your email as email@example.com.
|Step 6: Next|
|Enter your password and tap Next.|
|Step 7: Review|
|Review the detected server settings below to ensure accuracy and update as necessary|
-Description: Name for account settings
-Display Name: Name to be displayed on your outgoing emails
-Username: Your @exede.net email address (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org)
-Email Address: Your Exede email address or alias (e.g. @exede.net) to be displayed on your outgoing emails
-Password: Your email password
-Server Address: mail.exede.net
-IMAP Path Prefix: Leave field blank
-SMTP Username: Your @exede.net email address (e.g. email@example.com)
-SMTP Password: Your email password
-SMTP Server Address: smtp.exede.net
-SMTP Port: 587
-SMTP Encryption: StartTLS
Note: If you are using a WildBlue email address, you will replace all mail.exede.net and smtp.exede.net server names with mail.wildblue.net and smtp.wildblue.net.

|Tap Done to complete the process|
